Nothing is more important to The Wiggles than the safety and wellbeing of every child.

We recently became aware that the Emma Wiggle headband with a light-up bow, designed in 2017 and manufactured by our partner CA Australia Pty Ltd, does not meet updated mandatory standards for products containing button batteries. Specifically, the product lacks essential warning information, and the batteries may not be adequately secured, posing a potential risk of being accessed by young children.

The recalled product is a yellow headband with a yellow and black bow featuring four lights that flash when activated. These headbands were available for purchase from 29 January 2017 to 24 March 2024. While these products met safety requirements at the time of manufacture in 2017, changes in regulations now mean they no longer comply with current standards.

Upon identifying this potential safety issue, we have taken immediate action and collaborated with the relevant teams to address the matter. Consequently, we are, in conjunction with CA Australia, issuing a recall of the Emma Wiggle headband with a light-up bow to ensure the continued safety of all young children.

We sincerely apologise for any concern or inconvenience this may cause and want to reassure our community that we take this situation very seriously. The Wiggles no longer manufactures any products containing button batteries, reaffirming our unwavering commitment to provide safe and enjoyable experiences for all children.
